Nine out of ten lash artists will not have a thriving lash business a year from now. In fact, many artists will have already quit just 6 months from now because they couldn’t manage to get clients to book appointments. That’s a really hard pill to swallow, right? It doesn’t have to be this way.
When it comes to attracting clients, nobody hands us a blueprint after our lash class that tells us how to structure our business and how to get booked solid. It just doesn’t work that way. And not only that, there really isn’t just one way to attract clients. There are many paths lash artists can take, some more challenging then others, but nonetheless, they all work.
So how can you start attracting clients and start making consistent money in your business?
That’s exactly what I’m discussing in this week’s article. I share all of the things I managed to do right in my own business that has allowed me to have the lash business I have today nearly 13 years later.
Get ready to take a lot of notes because this is going to be juicy!
RESOURCES:
The Lash Bibles by Teresa Smith of I Love Lash
The Lash Bibles are a MUST HAVE for every lash artist in my opinion. Teresa Smith has done an incredible job putting together manuals that show various lash extension placements and lash maps so artist can expand their offerings.
The Lifelike Training Mannequin
This new generation practice mannequin provides an experience similar to practicing on an actual client. It includes 3 layers of lashes that are embedded into the mannequin which allows you to reuse it over and over again without having to replace practice strips. With this mannequin, you no longer have to wait to work on an actual person to practice and improve your lash skills.
The Lash Masters Monthly Training Program
A monthly program where lash artists learn how to master their lash application. In this subscription program, artists receive monthly group coaching and fresh new masterclasses focusing on various areas of lash mastery so their lash art can stand out in a saturated market and attract clients.
